Sunset Touch Drawing
Touch Drawing is a simple yet profound process, developed in 1974 by Deborah Koff-Chapin. Paper is placed over a piece of inked Plexiglas, and wherever the paper is touched, an imprint is made. Impulses from within take form on the paper, building through the movements of our fingertips. This intuitive, meditative process takes us on a journey deep within ourselves.
This three-part series is a progressive workshop that will build on skills each week.
- Week 1: Exploring Touch Drawing
- Week 2: Further exploration and/or mounting and developing your drawings
- Week 3: Open studio with various Touch Drawing options available
No experience necessary. Materials will be provided. Sessions will start at the studio and weather-permitting, we’ll migrate to Oakledge Park for lake-view inspiration.
