SUMMARY:The Kintsugi Bowl Experience
DESCRIPTION:This full day workshop is inspired by the teachings of Kintsugi\, the Japanese philosophy which states that “the value of an object is not in its beauty\, but in its imperfections.” The bowl represents the self and perhaps even society being transformed into something new. We honor our uniqueness\, our beauty\, our story. Participants will engage in an intermodal process that blends ritual\, writing\, and visual art.
